Tour Description
Raikot Tours presents one of the world’s most dramatic and technically demanding mountaineering challenges — the Trango Tower Expedition. The Trango Towers are a collection of extraordinary granite rock spires rising from the Baltoro Glacier in the Karakoram, Pakistan. The Great Trango Tower (6,286m) features the world’s largest near-vertical drop — a 1,340-metre sheer granite face that has attracted the world’s top rock climbers for decades.
Nameless Tower (Trango Tower, 6,239m) is considered by many experts to be the finest rock climb in the world — a near-vertical pillar of perfect granite requiring advanced big-wall climbing technique. Even the approach to Trango Base Camp via the Baltoro Glacier is one of the great trekking experiences in Pakistan, passing through the same corridor used by K2 expeditions.

Expedition Itinerary Overview
Days 1–3: Islamabad — permits, equipment, and liaison officer.
Days 4–5: Skardu by flight or drive.
Day 6: Jeep drive Skardu to Askole.
Days 7–10: Trek from Askole to Trango Base Camp (4,200m) via the Baltoro Glacier. Pass the stunning Cathedral Spires and witness the Trango Towers for the first time.
Days 11–15: Base camp establishment. Equipment sorting and route reconnaissance.
Days 16–40: Climbing rotations on the wall. Big-wall ascent with fixed ropes on the lower sections. Progressive camps established on the route. Summit attempt window.
Days 41–47: Descent and return trek to Askole. Drive Skardu. Return to Islamabad.
