Tour Description
Raikot Tours presents the Rush Lake Trek — a spectacular high-altitude adventure to one of Pakistan’s highest and most beautiful lakes at 4,694 metres above sea level. Located in the Nagar Valley near Karimabad, Hunza, Rush Lake offers breathtaking 360° views of Rakaposhi (7,788m), Diran Peak (7,273m), Haramosh (7,397m), and numerous other Karakoram giants.
The trek begins in Huru village (near Nagar) and ascends steeply through alpine meadows, moraines, and rocky ridges before revealing the stunning turquoise lake. This is a physically demanding trek suitable for fit trekkers and rewards with some of the finest mountain panoramas in the entire Karakoram.

Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Islamabad. Drive via KKH to Besham or Dasu. Overnight.
Day 2: Drive to Karimabad, Hunza. Check in. Rest and acclimatise. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 3: Drive to Huru Village, Nagar (1.5 hours). Begin trek. Ascend through forests and meadows to base camp at approximately 3,800m. Overnight at camp.
Day 4: Summit day — steep climb to Rush Lake (4,694m). Enjoy panoramic views of Rakaposhi, Diran, and the entire Karakoram. Return to base camp. Overnight.
Day 5: Trek down to Huru Village. Drive back to Karimabad. Rest and celebrate. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 6: Drive back towards Islamabad. Overnight at Besham.
Day 7: Arrive Islamabad. Trek concludes.
