Tour Description
The K2 Base Camp Trek is the ultimate trekking challenge in Pakistan — a legendary journey deep into the heart of the Karakoram to the foot of K2 (8,611m), the world’s second-highest and most technically demanding mountain. Raikot Tours’ K2 Base Camp Trek takes you along the famous Baltoro Glacier — one of the world’s longest glaciers outside the polar regions — through a landscape of staggering beauty and raw wilderness.
The trek passes through Concordia — the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods” — where four of the world’s 8,000-metre peaks converge in one jaw-dropping panorama: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, and Gasherbrum II. This is unquestionably one of the greatest trekking experiences on the planet.

Trek Itinerary
Day 1–2: Islamabad to Skardu (by air or 2-day drive). Check in to hotel. Rest and preparation.
Day 3: Jeep drive from Skardu to Askole (approx. 8 hours). Overnight at Askole (the last village before the glacier wilderness).
Day 4: Trek Askole to Jhola Camp (~6 hours). Cross the Biafo Glacier snout. Overnight at camp.
Day 5: Trek to Payu Camp (~5 hours). First views of the Baltoro Glacier. Overnight at camp.
Day 6: Trek to Urdukas Camp (~6 hours). Spectacular views of Trango Towers, Cathedral Spires, and Baltoro Muztagh. Overnight at camp.
Day 7: Trek to Goro II Camp (~7 hours) along the Baltoro Glacier. Overnight at camp.
Day 8: Trek to Concordia (4,600m) — the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods” with views of K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II. Overnight at Concordia.
Day 9: Trek to K2 Base Camp (5,150m). Unobstructed view of K2’s enormous south face. Overnight at base camp.
Day 10: Rest day at K2 Base Camp for acclimatisation and photography. Overnight.
Days 11–15: Return trek along the same route back to Askole. Drive to Skardu. Overnight in Skardu.
Days 16–17: Skardu to Islamabad (flight or drive). Tour concludes.
