Tour Description
Raikot Tours’ Hunza Batura Trek leads you into the wilderness around the mighty Batura Glacier — one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions, stretching approximately 57 km into the Karakoram. Located above Passu in upper Hunza, the Batura Trek offers dramatic scenery of ice seracs, glacial moraines, and towering peaks including Batura I (7,795m).
The trek follows the lateral moraine of the Batura Glacier, passing through the traditional Wakhi settlements of Passu and Yunz. The views of the Passu Cones, Cathedral-like spires, and the vast Hunza River valley are consistently spectacular throughout the route.

Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Islamabad. Drive to Besham via KKH. Overnight.
Day 2: Drive to Karimabad, Hunza. Check in. Overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Passu Village (2 hours). Visit Passu Cones and Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Passu.
Day 4: Trek to Batura Glacier snout. Walk along the glacier moraine with views of Batura I and II. Reach Yunz Village. Overnight at camp or guesthouse.
Day 5: Continue trek deeper into the Batura Valley. Encounter dramatic ice formations and glacier scenery. Return to Yunz. Overnight.
Day 6: Trek back to Passu. Visit Attabad Lake on the way. Overnight in Hunza.
Day 7: Drive back towards Islamabad. Overnight at Besham.
Day 8: Arrive Islamabad. Trek concludes.
