Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Islamabad at 4:00 AM. Drive via Karakoram Highway to Chilas. Overnight in Chilas.
Day 2: Drive Chilas to Skardu (approx. 3–4 hours). Check in to hotel. Visit Shangrila Resort and relax by the famous lake. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 3: Visit Upper Kachura Lake, Satpara Lake, and Skardu Fort. Explore the vibrant local bazaar. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 4: Day trip to Shigar Fort and the ancient village of Shigar. The restored Shigar Fort (now a heritage hotel) is one of Pakistan’s finest examples of Balti architecture. Overnight in Skardu.
Day 5: Drive to Deosai National Park — the world’s second-highest plateau at 4,114m. Spot Himalayan brown bears, Marco Polo sheep, and wildflowers. Overnight in Skardu or camp at Deosai.
Day 6: Drive from Skardu back to Chilas. Overnight in Chilas.
Day 7: Drive back to Islamabad via Karakoram Highway. Tour ends.
