Tour Description
Raikot Tours presents the ultimate high-altitude mountaineering achievement — the Gasherbrum II Expedition (8,035m), one of the fourteen 8,000-metre peaks on earth and the easiest of the “eight-thousanders” in terms of normal route difficulty. Located in the Karakoram between Pakistan and China, “G2” offers serious but non-technical high-altitude climbing along its South-Southeast Ridge — making it the most achievable 8,000-metre summit for well-acclimatised and experienced mountaineers.
The approach follows the famous Baltoro Glacier route from Askole to Concordia, with Base Camp established at 5,000m in the Abruzzi Glacier area. Our experienced high-altitude climbing guides, Sherpa support, and comprehensive logistics ensure the safest possible environment for your summit attempt.

Expedition Itinerary Overview
Days 1–3: Islamabad. Permits, equipment, team briefing. Liaison officer assigned.
Days 4–5: Drive or fly to Skardu. Final preparation.
Day 6: Jeep drive Skardu to Askole.
Days 7–12: Trek from Askole via Jhola, Payu, Urdukas, Goro II to Concordia (4,600m) then Gasherbrum Base Camp (5,000m).
Days 13–20: Acclimatisation rotations on the lower mountain. Establish Camp 1 (6,000m).
Days 21–30: Establish Camp 2 (6,800m) and Camp 3 (7,200m). Rotate and acclimatise.
Days 31–50: Summit window. High camp push to 7,500m+. Summit attempt on G2 (8,035m). Descent to base camp.
Days 51–58: Return trek to Askole. Drive to Skardu. Return to Islamabad.
