Laila Peak (6,096m) is one of the most photographed mountains in Pakistan — a perfectly shaped rock pyramid rising dramatically from the Kondus Valley in the Saltoro Range, Karakoram. Raikot Tours’ Laila Peak Expedition takes you to this stunning and technically demanding summit, offering one of the finest and most challenging rock and mixed climbing experiences in the Karakoram.
Laila Peak was first climbed in 1987 and remains a serious mountaineering objective with technical rock sections up to 5.10 and steep mixed terrain near the summit. The approach through the Hushe and Kondus valleys is itself a beautiful journey through remote Balti villages and spectacular Karakoram scenery.

Expedition Itinerary
Days 1–2: Islamabad to Skardu (flight or drive). Permit and logistics preparation.
Day 3: Drive Skardu to Hushe Valley. Overnight in Hushe Village.
Day 4: Drive / walk to Kondus Valley. Overnight at camp.
Days 5–6: Trek to Laila Peak Base Camp (4,200m). Establish camp.
Days 7–10: Acclimatisation, route fixing, and Camp 1 establishment.
Days 11–18: Establish Camp 2 and high camp. Summit attempt window. Technical rock and mixed sections on the upper mountain.
Days 19–22: Descent and return to Hushe. Drive to Skardu. Return to Islamabad.
