Tour Description

Raikot Tours’ Baltoro Kangri Expedition takes experienced mountaineers to the summit of Baltoro Kangri — a stunning 7,312-metre peak also known as “Golden Throne” — located in the heart of the Karakoram adjacent to the world-famous Baltoro Glacier. The mountain offers a technically demanding but non-technical-8000m summit with extraordinary views over K2, the Gasherbrums, Broad Peak, and the vast Baltoro ice world.

The approach follows the classic Baltoro Glacier route from Askole, the same path used by K2 expeditions. Base camp is established near Concordia, one of the most dramatic mountain amphitheatres on earth. This expedition is ideal for experienced climbers with prior 6,000m–7,000m summit experience who want to attempt a serious Karakoram peak before tackling the 8,000-metre giants.
